#DHFCTV #DHFC | In December 2022, a group of Year 6 children were invited to Champion Hill to take part in a Show Racism The Red Card event, during which they learned about the different types of abuse someone may suffer within football, and how to report and deal with any such incidents. They also took part in a Q&A session, in which they could ask a panel, which included Hamlet players Danny Mills and Lucy Monkman, on their experiences of stereotyping and abuse in the game. Lucy spoke to DHFCTV after the event to discuss the success of the event and her experiences of abuse throughout her career.
