The latest presentation in our release of sessions from the 2020 Australian Coaching Conference is on the increasingly important subject of Heading.
Anyone who has been following this subject closely knows that there is a lot of confusion, debate and differing opinions across the football landscape.
Fortunately for the local game here in NSW and more broadly, Australia, we have one of the world’s most recognised experts in this subject here in Sydney.
In this presentation, Dr Kerry Peek, together with local coach and former Socceroo Dean Heffernan and Andrew Head from Deploy Football, present some of the findings of her most recent research and what approach she recommends, including the use of a specially designed softer ball for heading.
