The New England Revolution have signed defender Henry Kessler to a two-year contract extension using Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) through the 2025 Major League Soccer season, with an additional one-year club option for 2026.
Kessler, New England's first-round pick in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft whose current contract was set to expire at the end of the 2023 season, returned to action on Saturday at Orlando City SC to mark his first appearance since sustaining a hamstring injury in April. In his four-year MLS career with the Revolution, the University of Virginia product has made 80 regular season appearances, 72 starts, and scored four goals, with five additional starts in the postseason.
