Aymeric Laporte’s second half header earned City a share the spoils at Southampton in what was a pulsating Premier League encounter at the St Mary’s Stadium.
The hosts had taken an early lead through Kyle Walker-Peters’ seventh minute shot.

Pep Guardiola’s side though responded in kind with Laporte deservedly heading home from Kevin De Bruyne’s pinpoint free-kick midway through the second half.

City came close to forcing a winner but had to settle for a point as our 12 match Premier League winning run was finally checked.
