In their Euro 1992 qualifying campaign, Denmark finished second in their group, one place behind Yugoslavia who qualified for the finals in Sweden ahead of them.
However, the ongoing conflict in the Balkans saw Yugoslavia banned from the tournament, with the minnows of Denmark taking their place. Denmark were priced at 20/1 to win the tournament, but they achieved the unthinkable.
In this short documentary, HITC Sevens takes a look at the Denmark team of the early 1990s, their lack of preparation, and how they managed to win the European Championships in 1992.
