Whether it's the Ballon d'Or, the FIFA 'The Best' awards, or the Globe Soccer Awards, football now has a litany of different individual honours designed to recognise the finest players on the planet.
However, few people ever question the criteria for these awards, and how the voting process actually works.
So in this documentary turned rant, HITC Sevens takes a look at how awards in football have been at best rendered meaningless, and are at worst entirely corrupt - featuring Premier League teams, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Jorge Mendes.
