On today’s UCL Review, we take a look at PSG’s victory over Bayern Munich on away goals in the Champions League quarter-finals. Neymar put in one of his most impressive displays of the season, and could have had a hat-trick, while Bayern, much as in the first leg, were unable to get over the line despite a late onslaught. It also begs the question – is this Hansi Flick’s last European jaunt with the Bavarian giants? The Germany job is available in the summer, and he’s a big favourite to take it.
We also analyse Chelsea 2-1 aggregate win over Porto following a subdued second leg – aside from Taremi’s spectacular stoppage time strike! With one of the best defences in Europe right now, Thomas Tuchel’s side can go into the semi-finals full of confidence – they are very much the tournament’s dark horses.
