I love everything about City, says Stokes
Demi Stokes says she loves everything about City, making her decision to extend her stay at the Club a “no-brainer”.
Stokes has penned a new deal which will see her remain at the Academy Stadium until 2024.
The left-back has made 199 appearances in sky blue since arriving at the Academy Stadium in January 2015.
One of the longest-serving players in Gareth Taylor's squad, the 31-year-old is excited to be a part of an exciting young team who support each other through the highs and lows of elite football.
“That's what I love about this team,” said Stokes. “That's why I love playing for City because I love coming in every day, I love the girls and I love the group.
“When you do have tough times, those are the people that get you through it and although you're not obviously in the games and things like that you still want to come in, you still want to do your rehab, you still want to be a part of the team because it's a good atmosphere to be in.
“I love City, I love the group, I love the team and I love how we play.
“I want to be a part of that, so it was a no-brainer for me!”
