In his first game since confirmation that he would see out the season as York City manager, Michael Morton named two changes to the side that drew at home to Scunthorpe in the last outing, with Alex Hurst and Mitch Hancox replacing Ryan Fallowfield and Danny Rowe.
The Bees had been in action on Saturday, losing to Gateshead on penalties in the Isuzu FA Trophy semi-final, and named numerous changes to their Starting XI.
Shaqai Forde scored the games only goal with a composed finish on the end of a ball over the top.
