Remember when Hoffenheim demolished Bayern Munich? It feels like it was ages ago, even by 2020 standards. That's because Sebastian Hoeness' men have now failed to win in the Bundesliga in five matches since that late-September triumph, stumbling again in a 2-1 loss at Wolfsburg. Renato Steffen and Wout Weghorst put the hosts up 2-0 within the first half hour, but Weghorst missed a chance to put the game away with a missed penalty kick in the second half. Hoffenheim mounted a late charge, with Sargis Adamyan scoring in the 87th minute, but Wolfsburg goalkeeper Koen Casteels preserved victory for his side by saving a penalty kick from Moanes Dabour in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
