15-year-old Cavan Sullivan has become one of soccer's most promising young stars, but it's only the beginning. Get a glimpse into his life juggling school, family, brand deals and of course, playing professionally for the Philadelphia Union.
Every time a Philadelphia Union player hits the back of the net at Subaru Park, the stadium erupts into emphatic cheers and melodious singing to team anthem Maria (I Like it Loud). In the song clip, the word DOOP is repeated, and in Philadelphia Union's 15 seasons in MLS, goals have been fondly coined as DOOPs themselves. The DOOP presented by Subaru is a bi-weekly podcast crafted to give the fans, who built the club 15 years ago, a never-before-seen-or-heard glimpse into the lives of players who score those DOOPs. Starting from Week 1, Union players, staff, and alumni were welcomed into a once vacant room transformed into a sports bar-inspired studio, decked out in club memorabilia from Year 1 to now. The look and feel was made to foster an inviting atmosphere for open and honest conversation about soccer, life, and everything in between, while reminding fans and guests of the club's robust past and exciting future.
