Last week, Manchester United approached Edwin van der Sar to become their director of football for the second time according to reports in the Netherlands.
Van der Sar was approached two years ago but turned down the move as he wasn't ready. However, United look to be rekindling that interest despite the fact he signed a new contract in September until 2025.
