yan Sessegnon scores TSG Hoffenheim’s late winner in a 2-1 vs. Borussia Monchengladbach after Gladbach were reduced to 10 men when Marcus Thuram was sent off for spitting in Stefan Posch's face. Gladbach open the scoring with a first-half penalty that came about from Dennis Geiger’s foul on Thuram in the box. Andrej Kramari equalizes for the visitors in the 75th minute, shortly before Thuram and Posch’s altercation. After the referee’s VAR review, Thuram’s yellow card was upgraded to a red. With the man advantage Tottenham Hotspur loanee Sessegnon was able to net the winner, sealing all three points for the visitors.
