Burnley Football Club are pleased to confirm the signing of France U21 international Han-Noah Massengo on a four-year deal.
The 22-year-old central-midfielder joins the Clarets after his contract expired with Bristol City in the summer.
After becoming a Claret, Massengo said: “I'm feeling really good. I've had talks with the manager and I just wanted to come here straight away.
“The interest was there early and during the summer I just wanted to be here, I could see the manager and Club wanted me and I wanted to be a part of it. It meant a lot to me.”
The Villepinte-born youngster started his youth career with his hometown club and then spent time with Sevran FC, Esperance Aulneysienne and Blanc-Mesnil before joining Monaco 2016.
After rising through the academy ranks in Monaco, Massengo made his professional debut for the club in the UEFA Champions League against Club Brugge aged 17 and became the first player born in the 21st century to feature in the competition.
Massengo joined Bristol City from Monaco in the summer of 2019 and went on to play over 100 times for the Robins across four seasons in the Championship with a loan spell at Auxerre for the second half of last season.
Internationally, the midfielder is of Republic of Congo descent but has represented France from U17-U21 level after making his international youth debut for his native country in 2018.
