For the first time in their history. Oxford City managed to finish the season in their highest ever league position of 3rd in the National League South but were defeated on the final day at Twerton Park by the ten men of Bath City.
Chance came and went but Josh Parker had put the hoops ahead at half time with a fierce near post shot. However a Reece Fleet miss kick fell kindly for sub Opi Edwards to bring the scores level. 3 minutes later Bath were awarded a penalty after the referee had judged a foul in the box from Josh Parker. Scott Wilson converting the resulting spot kick to put the romans ahead.
The hoops couldn't find the break through, however results elsewhere meant that finishing in their highest ever league position and a place in the semi-finals of the National League South Playoffs was for the second successive season.
