The 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar has been mired in scandal, and as a fierce critic of the tournament and Qatar's record on human rights, but also someone who works in football and is an enormous fan, I'm routinely asked what my plans are for the World Cup and whether I'll be going.
Since it would be impossible to respond to everyone individually, I thought I'd make a video about it instead.
So in this video, HITC Sevens shares his plans for this World Cup, whether he'll be attending the tournament in Qatar or not watching at all, and the rationale behind his decision.
