Aldershot Town Football Club are delighted to introduce Jamie Waller as a new First-Team Coach ahead of the new 2021/22 Vanarama National League season.
Jamie holds his UEFA A Licence of which he took alongside manager Danny Searle. He also holds a BSc (Hons) degree from Liverpool John Moores having studied on the football science programme.
The 37 year-old coached at the Crystal Palace Academy for many years where he worked with the likes of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Hiram Boateng, Sam Woods and Freddie Woodman amongst others.
Jamie also coached at the prestigious West Ham United Academy at the same time as Danny Searle and spent some time at The Premier League assessing u23s and u18 games for two seasons.
He owns the Unique Football Academy based in South East London who have an impressive reputation for developing young players, many of whom have gone on to make debuts in the EFL such as Ebou Adams and Myles Kenlock.
Jamie joins the coaching staff as 1st Team Coach and will be working with the current first-team staff to get the best from in his own words "this exciting young group of players alongside the existing coaching team."
