Comedian Mark Smith is joined by Football365 Editor Sarah Winterburn for this week’s edition of Big Weekend, in association with Paddy Power.
First up we have the North London derby. Can Jose’s discovery of Kane, Son and Bale together, something that no one in the world at any point could have told him was an obvious play, fire Tottenham to victory over a European-focused Arsenal?
Elsewhere, Newcastle United are celebrating drawing with West Brom, but will a possibly drifting Aston Villa be able to slap them back into reality?
Leeds United host Chelsea. Their record IN London isn’t great, but what can they do against Thomas Tuchel’s vastly-improving side in West Yorkshire?
Wolves host Liverpool. There’s not much to say about Liverpool now, and Wolves aren’t exactly fun to watch. Can Liverpool jolt themselves back into European contention?
And finally, Man Utd take on this season’s surprise package, West Ham. Is the Man City performance repeatable or will David Moyes break free of his curse against the side he used to manage?
So with The North London derby, Newcastle needing to show literally anything, Leeds needing to stop a resurgent Chelsea, Liverpool needing to stop everyone being resurgent against them, and David Moyes wanting to stop being rubbish against Man Utd, it looks like a Big bloody Weekend to us.
