After a victory over Canvey Island in the Quarter-Final of the Carlsberg FA Vase had Oxford City players & fans dreaming of Wembley, the Hoops had to overcome Belper Town in the Semi-Final stage.
A packed Court Place Farm queued to watch the game but it was City who progressed to Wembley with a 3-1 victory. In this Central News clip, 2,000 fans cram into the stadium to see the game, which ultimately secured our first ever visit to Wembley.
