The Minstermen secured their place in the National League North playoffs with a game to go after a 2-1 win over AFC Fylde.
City led at the break through Lenell John-Lewis’ third goal in three games, but they were pegged back by Fylde who levelled through Ben Tolitt early into the second-half.
Mitch Hancox won the game for the Minstermen though seven minutes later, secruing the Minstermen a third succesive league victory.
