Stoke City hit Rotherham United for six as they emphatically secured their place in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
Wouter Burger gave the Potters a second minute lead on his full debut before Ryan Mmaee also scored his first goal in City colours to make it two.
The visitors pulled one back through Sean Morrison, however Alex Neil's side hit back with two goals before the end of the first half through Josh Laurent and Tyrese Campbell.
Laurent scored his second and the Potters' fifth minutes into the second period before Mehdi Leris put the seal on a resounding 6-1 victory at the bet365 Stadium.
