Rachel Hill, Wealdstone FC Strength & Conditioning Coach, talks #hergametoo and encourages girls and ladies to join a #footballfamily
On Saturday, 9th September Wealdstone FC are playing Ebbsfleet United and have dedicated this match to the Her Game Too campaign and we would love to fill our stadium with as many females as we can!
You may already be familiar with Her Game Too, but if not, HGT are a group of volunteer female supporters who are passionate about football and working to eradicate sexism in the football industry. We want women and girls of all ages to feel confident and safe sharing their opinion about football both online and in real life without fear of sexist abuse.
The dedicated game is an opportunity to raise awareness that the support is there from the club and that we are working together to ensure everyone feels welcome & included.
Wealdstone FC are offering free tickets to all girls under 18, if purchased with an adult ticket.
Tickets can be purchased here: https://wealdstonefc.ticketco.events/uk/en/e/vanarama_national_league_wealdstone_v_ebbsfleet_united
If we have enough girls joining us, we would love to do a guard of honour prior to the game, welcoming the players on to the pitch and a pitch walk at half time, waving some flags.
Any girls who would like to join in, will need to be at Grosvenor Vale for 2.15pm and if they can wear their football kits that would be amazing!
We would love it if you could join us and hope to see you there!
