Sporting got off to a strong start, sustaining pressure until Reece King broke the deadlock, bringing down a Lycett cross and smashing home from 6 yards.
The visitors equalised late in the first half when a cross from the byline looped over everyone and found the far corner.
As the 2nd half went on, Sporting searched for a winner, coming inches away late in injury time, but Harry Crook's whipped cross just evaded the toe of Fin Holmes.
The draw does extend the Rousler's unbeaten run to 6 though, and brings us out of the relegation zone.
