Well this one was an important game for Blackpool. A win was the mist important thing Blackpool needed for a step closer to safety after that entertaining draw at home to Huddersfield on Tuesday night.
Blackpool started the game very well in the first half and could of found themselves taking the lead with plenty of chances that they managed to get. The goal never came. It was goalless by the break and no one could find a goal to break the deadlock.
Rotherham United came out on top in the second half and threw everything including the kitchen sink at Blackpool. That's not saying Blackpool didn't have their chances too! They did but just not as many as expected. They dropped in the second half. Maybe Blackpool could of took the lead in the dying stages of the game but that never seemed to happen and by 90mins with 3 minute added. Most fans would of said… the players are playing for a draw which was the case.
This is possibly a hard one to take for pool fans as that first half was very promising that Blackpool can go and win this game but it was never to be.
HEADS UP AND WE GO AGAIN, WE CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE PLAYERS AND MANAGEMENT TEAM, MAKE A LOT OF NOISE FROM THE STANDS!! AND HOPEFULLY STAY UP IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP!!
