On today’s Transfer Talk we explore the reports linking Aston Villa ace John McGinn with a spectacular switch to Man United, who are on the hunt for midfielders in 2022. Aston Villa apparently want £40million for the Scotland international, having already signed Lucas Digne and Philippe Coutinho this month while they are also interested in Brighton’s Yves Bissouma.
Paul Pogba is back on the rumour mill following a claim that he is in talks with PSG over a free transfer to the Parc des Princes in the summer, while Newcastle continue to be linked with a number of Champions League-level stars, with Diego Carlos looking close to completing his switch from Sevilla to St James’ Park. Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata is also wanted by the newly-monied Premier League outfit, although a hefty offer will be required for the Italian club to consider.
