After scoring five goals in the first two weeks of the Major League Soccer season, Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez is kept off the score sheet for the first time in 2021, as the Seattle Sounders top LA Galaxy 3-0. Raul Ruidiaz scores twice, bringing his early-season total to four goals, and Brad Smith adds a goal and assist to put the Sounders at the top of MLS with seven points from their first three matches. Next up for Chicharito and the Galaxy: a showdown with Carlos Vela and LAFC in the first installment of El Trafico this season.
