Sir Jim Ratcliffe will bid for Manchester United after the Glazers formally put the club on the market, James Ducker from The Telegraph has exclusively reported.
He will submit a bid in excess of £5 billion and becomes the first person to be formally named as a potential successor to the Glazers.
