Olly Dyson's equaliser earned the Minstermen a point against Oldham Athletic in front of an almost 7,000 strong crowd at the LNER Community Stadium.
In a match that had the electrifying atmosphere and on-field battle of a classic Yorkshire vs Lancashire tie, Oldham took the lead though Hallam Hope early into the second half.
However, the Minstermen went level thanks to Dyson's excellent finish but could not find the target in the closing stages to take away all six points from the bank holiday weekend.
