Football NSW has rolled out a campaign by various football representatives urging the community to vaccinate via this special video message.
Football NSW is throwing its support behind NSW Health in promoting Sport Super Sunday to encourage vaccinations this weekend.
Priority appointments for people aged 16-39 from 12 Local Government Areas of concern are available at Qudos Bank Arena and the NSW Health Vaccination Centre at Sydney Olympic Park and the Vaccination Centre at Macquarie Fields this Sunday 29 August, for all sports lovers.
Those aged 16 to 39 who live in Bayside, Blacktown, Burwood, Campbelltown, Canterbury Bankstown, Cumberland, Fairfield, Georges River, Liverpool, Parramatta, Strathfield or Penrith, should make a booking at www.nsw.gov.au/vacc16-39.
You can also book by calling on 1800 57 11 55.
Wear your team kits, colours, or gear and take a selfie to post on your social media channels with the hash tag #vaccinationchampion
If you can’t make it this Sunday, NSW Health have other vaccination appointments at its centres over the next two weeks.
Every person who gets vaccinated is making a difference and will help get us all back to sport sooner.
By teaming up, NSW Health can vaccinate as many people as possible to stop the spread of COVID-19.
