Suriname is the smallest sovereign state in South America, but the country has still produced footballers like Edgar Davids, Clarence Seedorf, and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
However, many of the nation's finest players - past and present - have chosen to represent Suriname's former colonisers the Netherlands.
