Barcelona stand accused of bribing referees to influence match results. The alleged offenses took place between 2001 and 2018, a period where it has been discovered the club paid companies owned by the former vice-President of the Technical Referees over €7m for ‘external consulting.' The Spanish prosecution claim these payments were in the name of corruption, something Barcelona adamantly denies.
