A veteran of four different Rugby World Cups, a fresh faced Johnny Sexton first graced the tournament back in New Zealand at Rugby World Cup 2011. He then was pivotal in the Irish cause in England at Rugby World Cup 2015, before agonisingly getting injured ahead of the quarter-final against Argentina. An influential force in Japan at Rugby World Cup 2019 before then guiding the side to world number one as captain ahead of Rugby World Cup 2023 in France. As he retires from the game, we look back at his greatest Rugby World Cup moments and ask the question, is he the best Irish player of all time?
