At the age of 20, Eduard Streltsov had the world at his feet. He was the Soviet Top League's top scorer, the USSR's star man, and maybe the most talented youngster in European football.
On the eve of the 1958 World Cup, however, Streltsov was sentenced to twelve years in a Soviet gulag.
In this documentary, HITC Sevens explores Eduard Streltsov's complicated legacy, whether he was framed by the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, and why his story continues to capture Russia's public imagination.
