The likes of Leeds United, Crystal Palace, and Newcastle United all currently have shirts sponsored by companies that few people in the United Kingdom will ever have heard of - and almost the entire league has some form of sponsorship from a company of this kind.
A lot of these companies are based in the Philippines, and appear to be focussed solely on selling their gambling platforms to Chinese viewers, despite the fact that gambling is illegal in China.
So in this video, HITC Sevens takes a look at the unknown and mysterious companies paying tens of millions of pounds to sponsor Premier League teams, why they do it, and whether it is likely to continue.
