From almost decade-long contracts to lucrative commercial deals with companies closely associated with their owners, some Premier League clubs have long sought loopholes to the league's FFP or Profit & Sustainability Rules.
The latest in this long line, and perhaps the most controversial, would appear to involve the actual transfer and - in some cases - swapping of players between clubs at risk of PSR breaches, right before the all-important deadline.
So in this video, HITC Sevens takes a closer look at some of those deals that have come under scrutiny, primarily at Chelsea, Everton, Newcastle, Leicester, Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest, whether one transfer fee has exposed the whole charade, and who is to blame.
