Can anyone stop Barcelona in this year's Champions League?
Barcelona look to be back to their best so here's why we think they are this season's Champions League dark horses!
The Spanish giants won their first group game against Royal Antwerp 5-0 and although they weren't the most formidable opponents we can't look past how Xavis's men have started the season
Summer signing Joao Felix scored 2 goals in this game making it 4 goal contributions in 3 games since he made the move from Madrid
Lewandowski was also on the scoresheet scoring his 100th goal in the Champions League but overall Xavis men have been incredible in front of goal scoring 18 goals in 6 games, recording back-2-back 5-0 wins
Defensively they look a lot more settled to, conceding only 4 goals in their opening 6 games with 3 of them coming in 1 game
The acquisition of Gundogan has been a revelation for the squad and has seen their midfield step it up a level with Frenkie De Jong playing with more confidence and Gavi continuing his incredible progress at Camp Nou
Now they should comfortably get through their group and with a favourable draw, their goal-scoring form and tight defence could shock many people! But what do you think? Who are your dark horses in the champions league? Let us know in the comments below
