While serving with the Black Watch in Korea, Harold Davis was shot and endured a two year rehabilitation before defying the odds and returning to play football. He would remain at Ibrox for eight years and in that time won multiple honours as part of Scott Symon's all conquering side. Later in life, Harold was Patron of the Rangers Supporters Erskine Appeal, where his charitable work would help injured veterans at the Erskine Hospital in Bishopton.
