The ‘Caps take four out of six points in the last two games before wrapping up their third match in eight days on Saturday.
This will be the seventh time the teams meet but first time this season. Last match between the ‘Caps and LAFC, Lucas Cavallini notched in a brace set-up by Columbian superstar Cristian Dájome for a 2-1 victory.
Cavallini and Maxime Crepeau are still on international duties at the Gold Cup, they face Costa Rica in the quarterfinal on Sunday.
Injury report - Bruno Gaspar is questionable with a left ankle sprain and is continuing his rehab during training.
The Whitecaps have scored twice in each of their last two on the road after scoring a total of five goals in their previous 12 away matches.
