Over the past week, there has been an extraordinarily viral news story claiming that PSG right-back Achraf Hakimi has avoided having to pay his wife a divorce settlement in court because all of his assets are in his mother's name.
That's despite the fact that there is very little evidence to support that claim, but regardless of that fact, the entire tenor of the conversation seems to be rather odd given the context in which Hakimi and his wife Hiba Abouk are getting divorced.
So in this video, HITC Sevens attempts to find the truth behind some very slanted headlines, taking a look at both online misinformation and a rise in misogyny, and how the two are linked.
