0:00 Intro
00:10 We have to accept we'll never know what happened with a different team today. It's my responsibility and like my players I am very disappointing. We hate to lose.
We had an excellent training session yesterday and we had the players who finished the session yesterday. I trusted the line up, it was strong enough to win the game.
But we were rusty, sloppy. We had many unforced errors and we did not adapt well to adapt our positions under pressure. We had easy ball losses that led to the red card and that cost us the game. Eleven against eleven it was not our best game but it was ok and on the counter attacks we had chances. We missed opportunities to kill the game early.
The second story is we didn't adapt to going one-man down. Our defending wasn't at the level we want it to be and the tactical choices for that are my responsibility. It's hard to accept but there's not other solution. We move on.
2:50 Wake up call? If we look at this game in four weeks maybe we look at it was a wake-up call. For me it wasn't required but I didn't feel we were overconfident or arrogant.
We were getting better and better in the game, create good moments on the pitch. Eleven against eleven we had critical ball losses in our own half so I was more concerned with our body positions in the build-up. Everything was rusty which I was surprised with after two days of training. But I could except it, I didn't have the highest expectations because it was after the international break, travelling and more. But to give a red card away like this, straight after the goal, maybe we didn't feel the risk.
5:00 No there was no day off tomorrow, there might have only be an individual day off for the guys that had travelled to refresh their mind. So most of the players will be in.
After 15 matches we can't lose our head and take away what we've done. After the moment it is the time to breath, it'll be a hard afternoon and evening. We had completely different plans how to start this match day but we have to accept it now. It's important to deal with it together.
