Football has the power to inspire a nation, and that was certainly the case when Steve Clarke and his squad sealed qualification for UEFA EURO 2024.
Through the Scottish FA's Learning Through Football platform, the challenge was set for children between the ages of 8-12 to create a short story, of no more than 300 words, titled ‘We're Off To Germany'.
The response was amazing, with 11-year-old Shekinah coming out on top with her entry, which you can read in full below and in the official match programme for Scotland's forthcoming friendly against Finland.
