In the year 2000, Deportivo de La Coruña became only the ninth team to win the La Liga title, finishing five points clear of league runners-up Barcelona.
Over the next few years, Deportivo enjoyed famous UEFA Champions League wins over the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, and AC Milan - but just 20 years on, they are a club in chaos - stuck in Spain's third tier with enormous debts.
