The first American coach to manage a game in the Champions League, Marsch bears similarities to Bielsa in that he is a maverick, starting his managerial career with the US Men’s National Team and Montreal Impact before joining the Red Bull family in 2015, going on to coach the likes of Erling Haaland and Karim Adeyemi.
