Hello and welcome back to another EFD Explains this time on what has gone wrong at Celtic.
With the Hoops currently 18 points behind Steven Gerrard’s Rangers, many of their star players such as Ryan Christie and Odsonne Edouard underperforming and their manager Neil Lennon’s jobs hanging by a thread, it’s fair to say it’s not been an easy season for the Celtic faithful.
Many of their new summer signings such as Vasilias Barkas and Shane Duffy have flopped, their style of play questioned and their reputation damaged by the Dubai debacle.
With Jeremie Frimpong and Olivier Ntcham having left in January and Edouard and Kristoffer Ajer likely to follow them out of the door this summer, is this the end of an era for Celtic or just a blip?
