There’s been LOADS of debate after France released their all-time XI, so we at ESPN FC thought we’d put Alejandro Moreno on the spot with choosing his current world's best XI (the only caveat: players must still be playing). Moreno chooses only players from Liverpool representing the Premier League, in particular defensive players. He explains why he chose Neuer over the likes of Jan Oblak and Marc-Andre ter Stegen, what makes Real Madrid’s Casemiro stand out with the current crop of defensive-minded midfielders, why there’s no room for PSG’s Neymar in the squad, and why Andy Robertson, Toni Kroos, Erling Haaland and Harry Kane just missed out on his XI.
