The U19’s kick-started their National League Alliance Academy North campaign this afternoon with a 2-0 win over FC Halifax Town.

Goals from second-half substitutes Jonny Shepherd and Alex Hernandez sealed all three points for the Young Minstermen, which delighted Youth Team Manager Tim Ryan at the full-time whistle.
