Stoke City were held to a draw by Preston North End at the bet365 Stadium on Tuesday evening, though the Potters extended their unbeaten run to five matches.
Wouter Burger hit the post for City as Narcís Pèlach's side pursued a decisive goal before the visitors' goalkeeper Freddie Woodman was sent off in the final minute of the 90 for handling outside of the penalty area to deny Tom Cannon a goal-scoring opportunity.
The draw means Pèlach's Potters have now lost just once in their last ten, while North End have been defeated just twice in the same period.
