Atlanta United today announced it has signed midfielder Tristan Muyumba from French Ligue 2 side EA Guingamp through the 2027 season using Targeted Allocation Money. Born in Paris, France, the midfielder will occupy an international roster slot pending the receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 Visa.
The 26-year-old midfielder has spent most of his career in France. He came up at AS Monaco and made his professional debut for the side on April 26, 2017 in the Coupe de France match vs. Paris St.-Germain. After a loan spell in Belgium with Cercle Brugge, Muyumba signed with SC Toulon at the beginning of 2020. He made seven appearances in the second half of the season with Toulon before COVID shut down the campaign.
