Sid Lowe joins the Gab and Juls Show to discuss Barcelona and their monetary worries. The guys suggest a lot of Barcelona’s financial decisions will depend on whether Lionel Messi decides to stay or go, the latter leaving Barca better off. Gab Marcotti believes Barcelona would still be one of the best teams in Europe without Messi, thanks to young players like Frankie de Jong, Ansu Fati, and Pedri and proven talent like Jordi Alba and Ousmane Dembele. Sid Lowe says Barca are still a team and club dependant on Messi, but suggests that no team is really much better off than the Catalunya side, despite their off-field problems.
