Dominic Calvert-Lewin returned to the USM Finch Farm training pitches as he stepped up his recovery from injury.
The England striker was back doing individual training as he continues to work his way back from a length spell on the sidelines.
Elsewhere, Rafa Benitez’s side were put through their paces as they look to build on Monday’s win against Arsenal this weekend in South East London against Crystal Palace.
